The hotel shows signs of wear, like a garden covered in broken chairs and cigarette stubs. My room had cobwebs, wall stains, and a lack of basic amenities like a kettle. The breakfast options left much to be desired, highlighting inconsistencies with cleanliness and a dated presentation.

Everything was good, the continental breakfast was totally worth it. Location: the hotel was near the Old Town as well as Damascus Gate. East Jerusalem district was worth exploring. I was given reasonably large room with a really nice bed. A bath tub and carpet were available there...

We thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of this affordable hotel. The room was brand-new and welcoming, included a storage and a kitchen area. The continental breakfast was satisfactory and had coffee and tea.

The hotel location is excellent for reaching
Major attractions like the walled city and Damascus Gate within a short walk. The friendly staff contributed greatly to my pleasant stay, especially Yahya, who was helpful. The limited breakfast options and occasional cleanliness issues slightly detracted.

The hotel property was recently refurbished with good and perfect location close to the Shivtei Israel tram station on the Eastern Jerusalem side of the line, the big modern west Jerusalem, and the restaurants of nearby hotels. Breakfast with marmelade.

I had a good stay! The breakfast was really good, with a lovely view of the peaceful garden. I particularly enjoyed lounging on the spacious balcony attached to my room, where I could bask in the sun and soak up the vibe.

Staff are nice and offer you sightseeing tours. Spacious room. walking distance to Damascus Gate of Old City.
Located in East Jerusalem, bit different from modern West Jerusalem. bit far from pedestrian strips of shoppings and restaurants. few furnitures in the room are broken and should be replaced. I think next time, I would rather stay at St. George cathedral's Pilgrim Guest House across the street for lower price.

The hotel had good location, 10 minutes walk to the Damascus gate. The hotel was across the street from the American Colony. The min-market was nearby to get snacks and drinks.
They try to sell you more expensive private tours. There are 3 large hotels nearby, with similar prices, to consider.

The location rocks, just a short walk to the Old City. The room had a nice balcony, but the breakfast choices were limited and pretty repetitive. It's decent for the price, though the place needs some serious updates.

The wonderful quiet of the room, the friendlness of the staff at the breakfast - very nice and helpful. Desk help was adequate. After a few proddings, staff was responsive to any changes/repairs that we suggested. The bathroom was very clean, though small. Having a TV in the living room and bedroom was nice, and the small balcony allowed us to sit and enjoy the outside. Location is across from The American Colony Hotel, a great place for a drink and occasional dinner or snack. Also, reliable cab stand there.
The living room furniture needs to be upgraded or replaced - it was worn and useless. In particular, the couch was extremely uncomfortable. The breakfasts were monotonous - it was an OK selection of foods, but always the same. There should be more attention to the detals in the lobby - plants and flowers should be fresher, watered. The doors inside our room - # 24 - were bizaare. The lighting in the living and bedrooms was inadequate - for example, dim lights in ceiling were useless. If upgraded and better organized, we would recommend this hotel - not highly, but very good.

The staff was very kind and helpful and the suite was very compfortable.
One of the guys in the reception was not so kind, if I asked him an adress twice, he got mad. The rest of the staff was very kind.

The room size exceeded my expectations. The breakfast options were limited and repetitive. Ideal for exploring local sites, with a quick walk to the nearby attractions.

The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. Especially Ahmed, who attended to us during breakfast with kindness and warmth. The hotel's close proximity to the iconic Damascus Gate was a major advantage for exploring the city.

The location is ideal for exploring major attractions, with a short walk to the nearby sites. Breakfast included a good butter that complemented the meal nicely. The limited variety and cleanliness issues were disappointing. The staff were accommodating and friendly, particularly Yahya, who provided invaluable assistance in organizing my visit. Unfortunately, the smoking issue from other guests permeating common areas affected comfort, and the promised room amenities were lacking at first, only resolved later.
